Est. 1971 · 440 Route 22 · Purdys, New York
Westchester's favorite burger, double-fried wings, and a proper pint — in the same warm room since 1971.
House Legends
Ask any regular. These are the plates that built the Blazer's name over five decades on Route 22.

Cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and bacon on a hard roll. The burger regulars call the best in Westchester.

Fried twice for a shattering crunch, tossed to order. Also Buffalo, BBQ or Teriyaki — or by the dozen for the table.

Guinness is a top seller, alongside Sloop Juice Bomb, Captain Lawrence Freshchester, seasonals — and a top-notch Bloody Mary.

Since 1971
The name comes from western Ireland in the late 1800s — foxhunters who ended a long day by setting their hut ablaze and watching it burn. The glow of the Galway "Blazer."
Tom and Emer Heavey opened these doors in 1971, and fifty-plus years later the Friday Lunch Crew has been coming since the 1980s, the wings are still double-fried, and the welcome is still the warmest on Route 22.
